Components of Emotional Intelligence:

SelfAwareness: Emotional intelligence begins with selfawareness—the ability to recognize and understand our own emotions. It involves tuning into our feelings without judgment and acknowledging how they influence our thoughts and actions.

SelfRegulation: With self-awareness comes self-regulation. This is the ability to manage our emotions in various situations, responding rather than reacting impulsively. Selfregulation fosters emotional balance and resilience.

Motivation: Emotional intelligence fuels intrinsic motivation. It's about setting goals that align with our values and passions, allowing us to persevere even when faced with challenges.

Empathy: Empathy is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence. It involves understanding and feeling the emotions of others, putting ourselves in their shoes, and responding with compassion and understanding.

Social Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution are all components of social skills. Emotional intelligence helps us build and maintain strong relationships, fostering a supportive network.
